NUM NUM LIFESTYLE ESTATE -
The Num-Num name comes from the indeginous shrub found on the Estate, "Carissa Bispinosa". It is an evergreen shrub with glossy foliage and fragrant, starry-white jasmine-like flowers. The Scarlet to crimson oval fruit is ornamental and edible. It is used for making jams and preserves as well. The shrub has a two-forked spine thorn at the tip of each branch, this is where the"bispinosa" part of the name is dervied from.
Francoise & Marius, when deciding on the name of the Estate, did not want just another...."golf Estate" or the names that are very common in the area, and this was the reasoning behind the name Num-Num Cape Estate.
The Num-Num Estate is a nature orientated development of 27 ha with 71 exclusive stands. Sizes from 1300 to 2360 sqm. Some plots with ocean views and other with rural/ nature views. Building options and the architectural code is available on request.
